  1. The United Nations’ International Day of Family Remittances is annually observed on 16 June across the world to recognize the crucial contribution of over 200 million migrant workers across the world, who send money to over 800 million family members in low and middle income countries. The theme of International Day of Family Remittances 2023 is “Digital remittances towards financial inclusion and cost reduction”. 
  2. Indian archer Aditi Gopichand made history by breaking the under-18 world record in the women’s compound qualification round during the Archery World Cup stage three in Medellin, Colombia.
  3. Uttam Lal has taken over as Director (Personnel) at National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) Limited, a leading hydropower company in India.
